Hi! My name is Sarah. I am born and raised in Arizona, but have been living in New York City for work. I studied political science and international relations in college. I can't seem to stop dancing, and enjoy spending time outdoors. I love baking almost as much as I love eating, and can't get enough of the outdoors!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join couchsurfing, because I am finally at a point in my life where I am able to travel for myself, and not just for an internship/work. I have an incurable travel bug, and love experiencing new places and cultures. In my opinion, culture is made up of amazing people and delicious food. That is why I travel, and couchsurfing is the perfect way to meet some of those amazing people!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love jazz, classic rock, and 80s pop. I cannot get enough of any movie directed by Jon Hughes (I love the 80s) and the harry potter series movie/book versions. I enjoy reading mystery thrillers and historical fiction, and I am always looking for new book recommendations.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I created a gelato map of Rome with all the gelaterias in the city, with reviews, ratings, and flavor recommendations for each place....I may or may not have an addiction which benefits all!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to repay the favor by baking my famous chocolate chip cookies or a dessert by request. However, if we are trying to avoid the sweets or need to work off the calories, I am a great dance partner, so we could hit the town and dance the night away!
