About Me

Hello!

I live and work in Yosemite National Park as an educator and ranger. I love art, biology, and pretty much anything outdoors, especially rock climbing, cycling, skiing and swimming. Always spending time in nature and learning from the world around me and wonderful people I share it with.

My ideal day would be yoga then rock climbing with friends in the morning, a picnic in a meadow in the afternoon with lots of veggies from my favorite local regenerative farm, and a funk music dance party at night.

I love meeting new people from around the world and I’d love to spend some time with you while you’re in the park. However, I am often very busy and may not have time to host or hang out. I’m learning Spanish, so if you speak Spanish and are willing to speak only Spanish with me in the house, let me know and it’s more likely you’ll be accepted :)

Currently I am only able to host in the winter for the most part. There are unfortunately too many requests to manage in the summer time because my summer housing has spotty cell service.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Teach, Learn, Share

Everybody knows something you don't - I love learning from all of the people that I meet. I’ve been living in the park for seven years so I’m really good at recommending trails! I would be excited for you to cook me a meal from your home culture if you stay with me

I can offer an ear to listen to any stories, thoughts, and ideas you have. Well versed at processing emotions with others. Also happy to share stories of my own and cook you a meal or two.
