Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is one of the most valuable things you can do. I've learned so much from people I've met on my travels and each host has made an impression on me and my experience of that country. I am always encouraging friends to sign up and, even though my mum frets about my safety, I always jump at an opportunity to stay with someone new.
Unfortunately, I live in a shared house with non-surfers I can't offer to host people yet but I can't wait to I have a place of my own and return some of the kindness so many have shown me.

I'm a big fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy when it comes to movies and books! Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones to name a few generics.
I'm into a mix of music: my absolute favourite band is Fleetwood Mac and I love the oldies (but goodies!) but am also very partial to Techno and House.

I've trekked across a continent!

I've slept many nights under the stars - one time in a bamboo basher bed with raccoons fighting on the ground around me and howler monkeys roaring in the trees ... magical

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some origami or perhaps sketch you something. I'm a big literature fan so will perform poetry, scripts or dramatic readings upon request!

I'm keen to share with you my experiences of travelling and life in general and would love to hear the same from my hosts!
I'm laid back and happy with anything you can offer me. I can help around the house - anything from dog walking to washing up, I'm keen to help in any way I can :)
