I'm an active, friendly, thoughtful, and creative person who is insatiably curious about the world! I've recently moved back to native Northern California, although I've lived in Seattle, WA for six years and most recently have been living and working abroad in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. I'm living in the small town of Placerville, California, about 40 miles north east of Sacramento in the beautiful Sierra Nevada foothills. My boyfriend Colton (also a fellow couch surfer) is over quite frequently so you'll also most likely meet him as well.

My hobbies are both athletic and sedentary; I love to hike, bike, run, play basketball and soccer and also read, write, paint, and photograph. My favorite way to connect with people is through story-telling and I love both listening and sharing stories. I'm passionate about ecological and social justice, and try to live out these values daily.

***Special Note*** If you have been displaced from the Camp Fire in Butte County please reach out to me. I'd love to offer a temporary place for you to stay. I have a spare room that can be set up with a single air mattress and blankets. I live in Placerville. My apartment is small, but I'm willing to host as many folks that need and also connect with friends that could possibly host as well.

I used Couchsurfing while on a road trip across the United States and Canada in the summer of 2017. I had a such a positive experience staying with locals and expanding my North-American cultural perspectives.
