Overview
About Me
Hey there!
I go to University of Brighton in England (I just finished my Erasmus in Heidelberg which was probably one of the best year of my life so far). I am a chilled person who is pretty easy going and up for most things. I love travelling and want to go to as many places around Europe whilst I'm studying here as well as getting to know new people.
There is unity in diversity
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet really cool and interesting people. I like meeting new people and think this is the best way to get to know other cultures, see cities in a new way and show what my town has to offer.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
For music I am open to pretty much anything from classical to heavy metal. I would say I prefer alternative/indie/rock as that's what I mainly listened to as a teenager. I'm really into new artists and have been obsessed with an English artist Raleigh Ritchie (also plays Grey Worm in Game of Thrones), but also I've been listening to Catfish and the Bottlemen a lot. So if you have any new/interesting artists to recommend then I'm all ears!
Movies
I love most action and comedy movies as well as a good chick flick. I have a lot of movies on my "must watch" list. Shawshank Redemption has to be my favourite movie of all time if I picked one but I love most movies.
Books
As an English student I've had to read a lot of old and traditional books, so reading has been more of a chore at the moment. But one book I love is Buddha of Suburbia by Hanif Kureshi. It's very funny and has a lot of British humour and is definitely a good read. My all time favourite author is probably Chuck Palahnuik (he wrote Fight Club).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swam with dolphins in Florida (made me want to be a marine biologist before I realised science wasn't my strongest subject at school)
Went to Thailand and watched the sunrise every morning on the beach. Probably one of the best trips I have been on.
There are not many super amazing things that I have done, but I find small things like going for a hike in Neuschwanstein to holding a snake in Egypt pretty awesome. Most things I do when travelling I find amazing because I love to appreciate the small things that I would not have been able to do in England. I try to make the most of each experience so that they are all special to me
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach - English slang, some of my mother's amazing cooking
Learn - I want to learn everything. Constantly being able to learn is the key to life. This is about exchanging cultures and I want to know everything about your culture
Share - Everything I know (or think is interesting enough) I will share with you
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to teach some English slang and give little facts about London. I love recommending cool places to visit/eat at/drink at as there are so many options! I also love eating, so if you're a foodie then we'll get on well (I love all kinds of food, from super healthy meals to ones that are super unhealthy - I will try pretty much any kind of food!)
