About Me
I'm a career coach and resume writer with an incurable case of wanderlust looking to explore more of the world and meet the interesting people that inhabit it. I love to go to new places and immerse myself in different cultures, and the best part of it is meeting the locals and getting to explore with them and swap stories/philosophize!
I'm also an aspiring polyglot with a penchant for spontaneity who's interested in sports, chess, literature, politics, cuisine, and looking to make new friends and have novel experiences. Caveat being I also love to enjoy a meal and have in interesting conversation about anything and everything. A true eternal optimist that enjoys all that is beautiful in life and seeks to live an interesting and meaningful life, hopefully one that puts some good into the world :)
Last year I explored SE Asia for the first time, starting with Manila to attend a friend's brother's wedding and was traveling around the region for 6-7 months. Also very recently slipped down a small waterfall and survived :)
Since I've been home, I've been focusing on work, catching up with friends (and sleep), and trying to develop my BJJ (I'm 1.5 months into my journey).
That being said, I'm ready to rock and roll and am now looking forward to my next adventure!
UPDATE: Back in Asia now for a wedding but decided to stay to continue my martial arts journey...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to meet locals and have more authentic, intimate experiences instead of just going to tourist destinations or doing night life things. I firmly believe that travelling, and life in general, is a lot more interesting and exciting with new people.

Music, Movies, and Books
Huge huge fan of the Hamilton musical, as well as various random songs in French (Stromae), Spanish (Estopa, Shakira, Pablo Alboran) and Italian (Azzuro, La Mia Ragazza Magica, Sotto Casa, Mentre Tutto Score). I also enjoy rap from the 2010s (the ones I used to listen to when I was younger). But really I'm open to any kind of genre or artist, no matter the language!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Pitched a business idea in Spanish in front of 40 Spaniards for StartUp weekend Sevilla
- Went parasailing with my waiter in Switzerland
- Scored a $275 RT to Zurich from Chicago and went solo travelling
- Played chess against a venetian and won a gondola ride (that I have yet to cash in)
- Began a startup with an Irish guy I had never met in real life before
- Went to a nude beach in Spain
- Moved to NYC during the pandemic by myself during school to work at a start up
- Wrote the CVs of CEOs and former founders
- Broke my tailbone falling down a [small] waterfall in Malaysia and lived to tell the tale
