Overview
About Me
Originally from a town north of Boston, I have grown to love the East Coast of the United States. I love the seasons, the beach, the mountains, and the cities. That being said, I am really trying to explore new areas of the country ...and the world for that matter!
Right now I work as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital. We are currently working on a clinical trial for people with type I diabetes. Recently, I found out that I have been accepted to grad school! I will be starting a masters of nursing program this fall with the intention of being a nurse practitioner. I am interested in pursuing women's health and potentially working in under served areas upon graduating.
Other things:
-I played field hockey in college
-I went to college in Maine and I want to live on the Maine coast someday
-I have two dogs that I love to pieces - Zeus (13) and Stella (2). They are Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers
-I am a big fan of the New England Patriots
-I am slightly obsessed with doughnuts
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think people should be able to travel and experience a world broader than their own without having to spend huge amounts of money.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Study abroad in New Zealand
Teach, Learn, Share
About two years ago I told my family and friends that I am gay. It was probably one of the most terrifying, eye opening, rewarding things I've ever done - all in one. I am incredibly moved by the acceptance of my family and friends and I could not be happier with my decision to come out. I feel that I can now truly express my entire self with that being out in the open. It also makes life's adventures more enjoyable. I have been in a happy relationship with my girlfriend for a little over a year now and life is good.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an open minded individual that truly cares about the well being of others. I would love to share good conversation - perhaps over a beer or two. Or if you don't drink, my cooking skills aren't too shabby (especially when it comes to breakfast)! So I'd love to share a nice conversation over a cup of coffee and some breakfast :)
