About Me

Hi everyone, I'm Sarah - 32 years old from Sydney, Australia.
I've never couch-surfed before but know plenty of people who have and loved it. I studied journalism at university and have since worked in Marketing and Public Relations.
More recently I studied life coaching. I'm also an NLP practitioner and I did an introduction to counselling (which I didn't like nearly as much as coaching). Once graduating, I launched my life coaching practice - and I work full time on that now, which I love.
I'm a super-positive person. I can pretty much make any situation work.
I like TED/TEDx. In 2015 I went to America and visited: LA, San Fran, Portland, Vegas, New York, Chicago, Kentucky, Nashville. And for Christmas and New Years I'm heading over to Indonesia for the first time. I guess the travel bug hit me!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Happy for people to contact me for tips and tricks around Sydney. I very rarely meet people from here because I am busy in my world, I'll help where I can though. I am also in a committed relationship.

Music, Movies, and Books

Walk of Shame (SO funny!)
The Hunger Games (All of them)
Music - the latest stuff - pop is great :) Although I did used to work promoting unsigned rock bands around Australia, so rock is totally ok as well. And country - I like country music ... I like a lot of music!
And books ... anything by James Patterson. He's just so easy to read! And I like Chris Guillebeau and entrepreneurial-style books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've done many amazing things :) One amazing thing would be helping almost two hundred thousand people through a blog I write on my own.

Teach, Learn, Share

My motto for life.

Life is one massive lesson. Anything I learn, I share. That's how I give back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will be the absolute dream guest! I'm a bit of a neat freak, although it can be tricky living in a suitcase, so I'll try to keep it tidy, and I will take you to lunch or dinner (depending on our schedules) and can offer you some free coaching, to repay you for your kindness. Oh! And a lifetime of friendship as well ... and if you're ever in Sydney, Australia, of course get in touch and I'll return the favour :)
