About Me

This year I left London and my job in fashion for new adventures and travelled solo from Panama up to California . The aim was to improve on my non existent Spanish to something passable which I managed to achieve, having a lot of fun along the way.

Currently embarking on my next adventure working at a university in Asia.

Philosophy: life is to be lived to the full! Stay curious; never stop trying new things, learning new things, going to new places. Nothing is impossible if you put your mind to it :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Staying in hostels is fun but I'm looking for a different experience and to meet and hang out with local people & hopefully see places I wouldn't know about if I just stayed on the tourist trail.

Interests

Travel and meeting new people is my favourite past time but I also love music & going to festivals, history, art, fashion, running, surfing, scuba diving, yoga, horse riding, food, cooking and the occasional beer..

Music, Movies, and Books

So much amazing music in the world how is one ever supposed to narrow it down ey.. Metronomy, Blood Orange, Kygo, Lapsley, Banks, Nick Mulvey, Rhye, Monkeybrain are current favourites...don't ask me to dance though, my moves are somewhat unique!
Comedy & Crime movies are normally my fave but will never stop loving Forest Gump!
George Orwell is a legend; 1984 and Animal Farm are brilliant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to pick just one...I have some stories I guess...

Teach, Learn, Share

When I finally do return to London I will hopefully be able to host people but until then I can teach you everything you need to know about British culture (fried breakfast and the queen is all you need to know right) some English words you've never heard of and perhaps the odd yoga pose, oh and always on hand for impartial fashion advice!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook so can always whip up a meal or teach you some recipes.
