ABOUT ME

I'm a warm, caring person who comes up with weird ideas and likes to make up games! I go all out on birthday's to make people feel special and I'm constantly creating new projects to keep myself occupied in my free time. I like to try new things, meet new people and see the wonders of the world!

PHILOSOPHY

There is one World that we have been given and one life to make the most of it. I believe that if you want to fulful your dreams, it is up to you to get up and go get! So this is what we are doing. To put it in simple terms; 'YOLO!'

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently travelling with my friend Laureen for 5 and a half months around America, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia & Thailand. We have spent a lot of our time on scheduled trips and backpacking through hostels and thought it was time to try something new! We have hired a camper van for half of Australia and wanted to make sure we met people along the way so thought couch surfing might be the best way to do it! We would love to stay with and meet new people where possible!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to this but please take a look at the review we have received from a friend of ours we met when travelling! He actually introduced us to couch surfing and recommended we try it! We have used Airbnb before if this helps.

Interests

I adore films and spend most of my time in the UK at the cinema, attending festivals or editing my own short stories! Since I've been travelling, I've put my attention on the cultures of the World and have seen many spectacular sites along the way. It is the simple things in life that I enjoy, like having a beer with friends down the pub or listening to music here, there and everywhere so this trip has been an incredible experience where I have done things I would have never have imagined.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite movies would have to be Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs and Walk the Line!

My favourite book is Lord of the Flies and I also love the Kite Runner.

I enjoy most music although my favourite artists would have to be Johnny Cash, the Beatles, the Beach Boys and Bob Marley.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first amazing moment that springs to mind would have to be the skydive my friend Laureen and I did in Taupo, New Zealand. The feeling can only be compared to flying and the scenery is beautiful.

The second moment would be when we visited the Grand Canyon in Nevada. I have never seen something so incredible and just thinking of the natural wonders on the Earth gives me goosebumps.
