About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To master my Chinese language skills and mostly to make new experiences, meet interesting people and figure out in what direction my life is going.

ABOUT ME

Hey there! I'm Sarah from Germany. I love to travel, love to study languages and experience new things. Right now I am spending one year abroad in China to learn Chinese and to get an impression of Chinese culture.

PHILOSOPHY

Things happen for a reason, no matter how unfortunate they seem to be. Take things as the come and make the best out of it!

Interests

The three things I am into the most are music, sports and traveling. I love to play volleyball, especially beach volleyball, I like to sing, I'm up for KTV anytime! haha Besides that I like swimming, running and hiking. Pretty much anything else but sitting on the couch and letting the days pass...

Music, Movies, and Books

Life of Pi, saw the movie yesterday and I'm still stunned by it. Awesome story, awesome scenery- and I HAVE to go to India soon!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My high school year abroad in Michigan, USA was probably the time that impressed me the most. It was an awesome time, I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to experience another culture that deeply.
Also, the two semesters that I am spending in China right now are turning my life around 360 degrees. There's no better way to study this language and get to know the Chinese people than being right in the spot where everything is happening. What an amazing country!
