Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I had my first Couchsurfing experiences last year in Ecuador, and I'm hooked. The people I've met through this amazing network have been so beautiful, open, and giving - whether it be in bedding, wisdom, smiles, hugs... Now that I'm settled in Vancouver I hope to return the favours and pay it forward.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

See above... My favourite Couchsurfing experience was a family christmas on a farm in Tumbaco - a truly magical time - I felt completely welcomed into an amazing family, met other wonderful couch surfers, helped out on the farm, baked cakes, hugged a llama...
My most surprising couch surfing experience was when the lovely Torres couple left me the keys to their apartment after knowing me for half an hour, leaving me the place to stay in while I job-hunted, while they left for a month! Trusting, generous folk!
