After living 5 years in Madagascar, working on adaptation to climate change for the agricultural sector, I decided to take a year off and get to dive in deeper in some of my passions. Spent a few months cycling and climbing in Europe, and then crossed the Atlantic Ocean in December on a catamaran, joining the American continent by the end of December.

As my brother lives in LA, I decided to then pay him a visit, and will be exploring USA for the next month, before sailing back to France.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am not able to host anyone, as my home has been the deck of a sailing vessel and spending time on workaway places. I usually host a lot of friends of friends in Madagascar, or in Paris. Looking forward to being able to do that again when I settle down again...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Usually lucky to have friends in the countries I visited...First times of couchsurfing was in Russia two years ago and it was a great experience. More recently through a friend I visited a great couchsurfing host in Guadeloupe. Lovely experience!

Interests

Been working on my watercolor skills during the last few months; otherwise always keen on outdoorsy experiences; animals, talking about philosophy and art.
