About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Taking the scenic view route in life.
ABOUT ME
I moved around a lot as a kid, because my dad is an airline pilot. I think that had a major influence on my life. I love to travel and I hate staying in one place for too long.
I recently moved from Houston to Northern California. I'll be starting general education classes at the local community college this fall.
My main goal in life is to have crazy amazing stories to tell my grandchildren. I think that life has some major ups and downs, and amazing miraculous things come from both. So bring it on.
PHILOSOPHY
Be the change you wish to see in the world. -Mahatma Gandi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was introduced to couchsurfing in Houston. My roommates would host practically every weekend. I loved meeting new people and hearing their stories. I was inspired to travel and took my first overseas trip to backpack/couchsurf with a friend in Scotland (who I had conveniently met through couchsurfing) I'm hoping to move to a place where I can host again.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfing was the reason I left my country for the first time. I have been sailing with surfers, climbed castles with surfers, accidentally was locked in a hosts house for a day (quite funny actually)
I think my favorite memories are from couchsurfing and I will never stop as long as it's around.
Interests
in no particular order:
*traveling
*swimming (casually)
*I recently discovered I'm really good at playing horse shoes
*Playing Magic the Gathering (card game, newbie at the tournaments)
*bowling
*painting, writing, knitting, and general creative crafty things for fun
*geocaching
I like poetry and empty museums. I like picnics in the park. Sitting in the shade and drinking tea. I like small get togethers and receiving letters from friends. I have a postcard collection. Eating, especially Asian and Mediterranean food.
My favorite thing to do is laugh.
