Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hope to get in contact with diverse people and perspectives, and get insight in new cultures.
Unfortunately, at the moment, I´m not in the position to host someone. However, I would be pleased to show you around Cologne and my favorite spots in the city or the surrounding area or to meet up for cooking or a coffee and a conversation.
Interests
I love arts and being creative in any kind.
And I love nature and spending time outdoors, alone or with friends.
I´m always open for a good conversation and appreciate authentic, honest and individual people.
I like philosophy and learning about different cultures and perspectives.
I take energy from yoga, mediation and having good thoughts, and from thinks like cooking, music, writing, gardening, traveling...
I´m interested in understanding human behavior and their motivations, which is why I studies psychology. And I´m very fascinated by the brain, especially its functioning in healthy and disease, which is why I specialized in neuropsychology and work as a scientist.

Music, Movies, and Books
There are many good bands and musicians... Predominantly, I listen to rock (indie rock, folk rock), singer songwriter or electronic music ...to name a few: Ben Howard, The Veils, Alt-j, The National, Radiohead, Jamie XX, Daughter, ...
There are a lot of great movies, on top of my favorits are Forrest Gump, Garden State, Victoria and Into the wild.
I really like reading - books, essays, blogs, poems - of many diverse genres.
I enjoy texts that carry a message or that invite the reader to reconsider a topic. Though, a good book doesn't necessarily need to be philosophically...
Some books that touched me were Siddhartha (Hermann Hesse), When Nitzsche Wept (Irving D. Yalom), and The Demon And Miss Prym (Paul Coelho), Alice in Wonderland (Lewis Carroll).
