ABOUT ME
Originally from England, I now live in Zurich and have made it my home. I'm easy going and want to live life to the full. That includes getting to know other cultures and ways of living and learning from the people I meet.
If you would like to surf my sofabed, so I know you've read this far in my profile, please let me know - what is your favourite book??!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have a sofabed for travellers and would like to meet CS'ers when I go travelling. I know how much easier it is for 'locals' to find their way around a city or country and am glad to help surfers find their feet here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have surfed in Europe and China and had great experiences. I have made good friends through CS and hope there are more to come. I have also hosted CS'ers from Portugal, China and Australia since I've had a sofabed to give.
Interests
I am outdoors as much as possible - hiking, swimming, biking, running, snowboarding. I also like reading, learning German, learning to play piano, making things - arts and crafts, DIY, painting, drawing.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet is even more impressive than it looks in photos. And the dedication of the people to their religions and beliefs is incredible.
