About Me
A teacher who has been living in Seville for the last two year!
Love exploring and learning about new places with people who know it best! Life is for sharing and connecting with others be it through food, music, laughter or whatever weird, magical thing that brings people together and sparks conversation.
I enjoy being active through cycling, running, swimming, yoga and am always open to trying new things for example playing Ultimate Frisbee through meeting a fellow Couchsurfer in Melbourne!
I love food.. making food, trying food, talking about food. Trying new food, cafes and restaurants etc. is one of my favourite things about travelling. Watching someone take the first bite of a meal I made them is one of my favourite things about life.
I have been singing since I was really young and was in a Soul Choir in University and another choir whilst in London - singing with a group of people is so uplifting and inspiring as is watching live music. I like lots of different music including Soul, Funk, Jazz, Reggae, Pop, House, Indie etc. I love going to gigs and festivals, sharing and discovering new music with others.
I'm just about having a good time and making sure those I love around me are having a good time as well!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love trying new things (especially food!) and meeting new people which is why I love Couchsurfing! I love the idea of cultural exchange and learning from each other and everyone I have met through Couchsurfing has been lovely and interesting!

Music, Movies, and Books
Love listening to Soul and Funk and tunes to get me dancing around as well as more slow music like Matt Corby and Lianne La Havas where you can lament in their voice and guitar.
Not a huge film geek but will watch anything and love Audrey Hepburn films and films like Singing in The Rain.
Love getting lost in a book and catching up from not reading as much when I was younger. Have enjoyed reading Matt Haig, This is Going to Hurt and Dolly Alderton's Everything I Know About Love - easy non-fiction reads. Always open to reading suggestions!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I taught in London I organised my school's first Pride Week which included a video with messages of support, bake sales, pride bunting, acceptance lessons in each department, a big pledge by students to accept everyone the way they are and to celebrate differences. I know students really appreciated this week and felt like they could be themselves in school which I am so, so proud of!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am a Maths teacher so if you're down for that then happy to give a free lesson, haha!
When I volunteered in Greece with refugees in a Youth Centre, I was running workshops on Singing and Yoga and now deliver sessions in a local Youth Centre at home and I am always up for singing and yoga - maybe even at the same time!
I love cooking for people I stay with and learning any recipes they might have.
