ABOUT ME

I am an optimistic enthusiastic experiencialist. I love sharing stories with laughs over food or drinks. Generally anything that can be vaguely described as fun or interesting I love. I love to explore and go on adventures, trying lots of new things. I like cooking, cycling, snowboarding, drawing, eating, talking, reading, surfing, and most things I do.

PHILOSOPHY

I follow my heart, treat others as I would wish to be treated. I'm not religious, but believe in, well love I guess. I think of it as kind've like glue, because it's that we are all made of it. It is the meaning and fabric of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm just moved into a flat of my own and hope I can provide a couch for weary or not so weary travellers. I want to travel some more in the future, but maybe going to stay here for a little while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just become an official surfer of couches though I have unofficially enjoyed couches of friends and friends of friends on a number of occasions.

Interests

I'm interested in pretty much everything, never rule anything out of this catagory. Specifically trying to learn to speak not just English - though failing fairly miserably at that! - and anything to do with food usually has me intrigued, I like old stuff too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I generally like pretty chilled out music (Donavon Frankenreiter, Carus, Xavier Rudd, James Taylor, John Mayor etc etc) my music taste varies quite a lot, those guys are the constants, but I'm loving exploring music a bit, I definately like simple folky music mostly. I like passionate and beautiful films and engaging books (a good story with wisedom, or emotion; La Cucina, The Alchemist, The Death and Life of Charlie St Cloud - it's very cute).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I seen a house fly... Hmm ... seriously not sure. I'm amazed by strange and small things, and tend to have put myself in some difficult situations. I guess getting through some of those was amazing, but it just happens.

I'd love to share some of my food knowledge, and general wisedom and I'd like to pick up some general wisedom, stories and any inspirational recipes.
