About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Being a person with a positive and open mind, enjoying life, finding a job I like to do and contributing to turning this world into a better place - and not the other way around.
ABOUT ME
Hi there,
I am Sarah, I am in my twenties and currently living in Zurich. I moved there last year after fininshing my studies in economics and am now working in the financial service industry.
I joined Couchsurfing when I was nineteen years old. While updating the personal description I wrote at that time I just figure out how fast time passes by. During the last years, I had the chance to travel to some amazing places I hadn't seen before and have even been living in severnal different countries. All in all, these experiences deepened my passion in travelling and meeting interesting people from different places.
Interests
As I am now a person who just entered the "working life", I have become very modest. I am very happy every time I get the chance to spend time with my friends and family, even if it is just for a drink or a dinner together.
I also like to spend my free time doing sports (though I cant always motivate myself as often as I wished when I have a lot of work). I love sitting down with a thrilling book or newspaper.
Having discussions and interesting conversations, preferably in foreign languages I speak are also part of my interests. and the newest additions are cooking and baking.
I think TRAVELLING must not be mentioned explicitly...

Movies: The constant gardener, El crimen del padre amaro, Before Sunset & Before Sunrise, Barfuss.
Music: Classical music, Jazz, Latin and Hip-Hop.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once travelled alone to Thailand and spent a month there. I just loved this feeling of freedom, having the chance to see my daily life from a different perspective and reflect on it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, German is my mother tongue. I can teach you some German and tell you about Germany. I am always more than happy to speak French, Spanish or English.
I just started to like cooking and baking, so am always interested in learning about food from different countries. Or simply to listen about stories from somebody who has travelled a lot.
