About Me
I'm trying to get out and about!
I'm currently living in NW Denver with my boyfriend, our two dogs two cats.
I am serving at a restuarant to survive and applying for grad school next year.
I have been vegan for six years and enjoy volunteering with and for the animals.
PHILOSOPHY
"You possess only whatever will not be lost in a shipwreck."
— El Ghazali
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have only hosted a handful of times but I'm going on a big trip through Central America!
Interests
My interests usually involve nature. Hiking, skiing, riding my bike. I also enjoy movies, reading, bikram yoga, pure barre, cooking, going to live music and getting out where I can see some stars.

Music, Movies, and Books
BOOKS:
I'm a complete bibliophile. Favorite books: Geek Love by Katherine Dunn, House of Leaves by Mark Z., anything by Charles Bukowski, Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Nietzsche. Hesse. Rollins. Non-fiction.
“I believe that today more than ever a book should be sought after even if it has only one great page in it. We must search for fragments, splinters, toenails, anything that has ore in it, anything that is capable of resuscitating the body and the soul.”- Henry Rollins
FILM:
I am continually amazed at the astounding process of making a film. They frequently make me very emotional and elated and my faith in humankind temporarily restored. A good film itself is an art that can transcend cultures and languages with emotion and empathy. The process to the end result. I am fascinated with the lot of it. High-brow, low-brow. Whatevs.
MUSIC:
raised on punk rock with a metal heart and a strong connection to country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Walking around barefoot in rainforests, sailing, sitting on top of mountains and then skiing down them, numerous invigorating conversations.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can be shy and awkward and I'm hoping that the more connections I form with people and the more places I travel the more confident I will become with myself, my capabilities and maybe something I will be able to teach someone else.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I am a vegan and I would love to share and make a few recipes for a meal or two. I also love all animals and would be happy to cuddle your animals.
