CURRENT MISSION

Fun, frolic and fury! Currently planning a trip through Uluru, Darwin and Kakadu. My traveling goal is to find myself through trial and error. I hope I will succeed more than I will fail, but I'm open for any opportunity to learn more about myself.

ABOUT ME

I have been called driven, goal oriented, and high achieving. I am highly adaptable and independent. I consider myself hands-on and capable, though I appreciate a helping hand if someone offers. I am all about cooperation and communication, and I'm not afraid to take the lead if necessary.

I started my college education when I was 16, I have attended four different higher education institutes including two colleges and two universities. I have changed my major four different times and have finally landed in Environmental Engineering. This is my last year of university, and I have decided I need to explore more of the world. I have taken advantage of my uncommitted student status to make that happen.

My family is the most important thing to me. Prior to traveling to Australia I was living with my grandparents taking care of them after my grandmother had a fairly serious back surgery. My family has been extremely supportive of my travel plans and encourages me to continue exploring the world, meeting new people and experiencing as much as I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Safety is a serious concern for me as a woman. Couch surfing hopefully will give me the opportunity to travel safely on a budget, and will allow me to meet other individuals who value the ability to travel and experience the world safely as much as I do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have yet to surf a couch, but I am excited for the experience.

Interests

I love anything outdoors! I love camping and rock climbing. My home town is in a mecca for outdoor adventuring! Once I get home, I hope to open my couch to other surfers who are interested in the great Nevada adventure!

I also love the city life. I enjoy people watching and visually experiencing humanity.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not such a movie buff, but I love them for the entertainment they present. I love music. Music lifts my soul and warms my heart. My favorite kind of music is the kind that takes me back with a wonderful memory. I love to read, but I would rather sit and discuss with another person.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess, to date, flying half way around the world by myself has been the most amazing thing I've done! There are probably others, but that seems the most pertinent to date.

Teach, Learn, Share

Wow, I just got to this spot, but I believe I have already stated how important it is to learn from life and the experiences we are given. I am so grateful to have the capacity, willingness and support to get me to where I am.
