About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'M RUNNING OFF TO SEE THE CIRCUS! I must check out the Circus Festival in Berlin and need a place to stay for only one night. :)
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Sarah, an open minded girl from Brasília, the surreal planed-modernist capital of Brazil. I've lived for one in the Hague (Netherlands), went back to Brazil to finish my studies on design and I'm now doing my masters at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar in Germany. I like going out but also enjoy some quiet time at home. I'm also a circus/acrobatics/silks enthusiast!
PHILOSOPHY
I guess the closest I have to a personal philosophy would be:
The best that we can do on our lives is to learn as much as you can and try to be the kindest you can.
Everything is an experience to be remembered.
Be honest, to yourself and others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I haven't actually used couchsurfing yet, so technically I have not participated. Haha
I don't really have a couch for now and I do share a flat with 9 other girls, so it might be hard to host for now but definetly possible, especially if you're ok with improvised beds and sharing a house with lots of people. Anyhow I am still figuring Weimar out, but if would be glad to show around what I've seen so far and show whats going on.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never tried myself before, so this will be something new for me.

I'm interested in art, design, circus/acrobatic, yoga, music, cinema, architecture, FOOD (a lot! I cannot emphasise how much!) and much more.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Vertigo, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Donnie Darko, Princess Mononoke, Fantasia, Being John Malkovich, Ex-Machina, Alphaville, The Last Unicorn, Full Metal Jacket, Melancholia, Estomago...
Music: Gorillaz, Portishead, The XX, Manu Chao, Metric, Radiohead, Amanda Palmer, Os Mutantes, The Prodigy, Grizzly Bear, Alt-J, Criolo, Florence and the Machine, Girlpool, Sevdaliza, FKA Twigs... A lot of things.
Books / Comics
I wished I read more than I actually do. A few books I can remember that I liked are: 1984, The Handmaid's Tale, We, One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, Dune (first book), Ham on Rye, Watchmen, Stigmata, Akira, Sandman, Autobiography of Red...
Series
I'm way too much into series. 30 Rock, Adventure Time, Arrested Development, Black Mirror, Bob's Burgers, Daria, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Handmaid Tale, Westworld, Orange is the New Black, Parks and Recreation, The I.T. Crowd, The Killing...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've done was visit the Sequoia National Park in the United States. The combination of animals, smells, colors, light, stars and those beautiful gigantic trees was incredible. Also, a great breakfast!
Teach, Learn, Share
Oh damm. I think I don't know what to say because it all depends on who you're with. What you can learn, teach and share depends on more then one person. I don't know what kind of practical skills I have that might interest others.
I can give some tips on some yoga poses or stretching, but I'm not a professional. The best thing is sharing some practice actually!
I think the best teaching/learning is just talking, whatever the topic is.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully good conversation and company!
