About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am an incredibly outgoing person. I love to travel and I absolutely love to meet new people and hear their stories. Traveling is a must, because then I can see all the other cultures of the world and meet so many new people! I am incredibly friendly and not afraid to strike up conversations with strangers. I just got back from 2 months in Bali, Indonesia, getting my 500 hour yoga teaching certification.

Interests

I love the outdoors. I am really making this couch surfing account to stay safer, any day of the week I would much rather be sleeping in a hammock between two trees or in a tent. I need to be surrounded by nature, it is our greatest gift in the world. Once we are gone, nature will remain. I spend my time hiking, doing yoga, swimming in rivers, tending my garden, and lounging on my hammock in my balcony! I sleep out there all the time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most memorable moments of my life was my first ever sunrise hike in the Rocky Mountains. We reached the top of the mountain around 5:45 am, and it was still dark. At around 6, the lights started. We could see the sun rise over the Denver skyline (we were in Boulder). No one spoke because we were all exhausted, we just took in the beauty.
One of the second most memorable moments of my life was when I first moved into my own apartment. I left my parents house as a senior in high school because it was no longer a safe environment for me to live. I worked 60 hours a week at 2 jobs while attending and finishing high school. Moving in to a place I could call my own was such a blessing and it was good to know I had done this for myself. I've never felt more connected with the core of my being and I really know who I am as an individual because of this.
