About Me
ABOUT ME
I am currently studying to become a social worker (éducatrice spécialisée) in Rennes in France. I spend most of my free time volunteering in Northern France with refugees. When I am not there I like to have some light and cheerful moments like painting, writing, cooking diner, have a beer with some friends, read books etc..
I love travelling and discovering new cultures and people. I am interested in cultural mediation as well and I am looking for new experiences.
I have to write a few essays for school so I have decided to go to Roma for the next 20 days to get away from my everyday life. I would like to share a house with some locals to have nice chats, good tips and fancy dinners. I might take a few days to go and visit the italian countryside as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I believe that meeting locals is the best way to discover one's cultures. Due to my experience in volunteering I am used to live and meet dozens of foreigners each month. I believe in mutual respect and shareness.
My work consist in finding family accomodation for homeless persons and i have hosted travelers when my rommate was away in the past years, which is why I believe that empty beds are made to be occupied.
