ABOUT ME

I am easy going, spontaneous and a fairly positive person who loves adventure. I like being outdoors going for hikes and doing a multitude of recreational activities. I have a great interest in learning about other cultures around the world, meeting people, learning new cooking recipes, and discovering history in new areas. Music is a big part of my life as I love to listen, dance, sing, and play percussion. I have grown up on a farm and love animals, especially my collie dog! I support sustainable efforts. Ooo and I love the ocean and mountains!

PHILOSOPHY

Success come to the positive and that we should remember that even if we are in a tough jam, things could always be worse! I also believe in karma and that everything that is meant to happen will and things that aren't are the ones that don't work out. So don't sweat about them, as they were not right for you in the first place!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I aim to learn the local culture and follow it rather than act like an ignorant foreigner in a new area. Often the human interactions are most valuable when traveling. It is also a pleasure to connect with travelers in your home area when you are not traveling. I live simply, and am grateful for every person I meet through couchsurfing. Money can sometimes be a setback and struggle when traveling. The reciprocity of sharing space and time through couchsurfing is beautiful.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

positve. Some couches and people are simply unglaublish! It's wonderful to meet with like minded people around the world who are so welcoming that it feels like you have known them longer. For everyone that opens up their time and place to a traveler, I respect you and appreciate the same when I host.

I hiked to the top of mt fuji at 3,776 metres high and saw an amazing sunrise. That was amazing but i got altitude sickness.
