About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To say no to things I dont want to do and make things I do, happen.
ABOUT ME
I'm British born and bred - after leaving my home I lived in London for nine years, via France and a few other places, a few months ago I relocated to Berlin. I like it here - everyone's young and an artist and poor and chilled out and its refreshing to be here. I work in the arts, the theatre to be specific, I'm currently trying to get some of my own work off the ground so spend countless days filling in funding application forms - I'm not good at it or being on my own all day. I am curious and interested and tend to like the pro-active equally curious type of being. I like being outside, the sea and the mountains. And I like moving in various sporting and dancing ways.
PHILOSOPHY
Blimey - um positive mainly, think about getting a cottage in the countryside and having some chickens quite a lot - generally though be nice and things and life becomes nice too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm very new to this - well in London our couch was a constant host to people known and unknown who needed a place for a few days/ months whilst in London. I had my first to surfers in my flat here in Berlin last week - I'm away for a while though and then will need to find anew flat so not quite sure of my hosting situation at the moment.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Best way to meet people and experience cultures and places.
Interests
I work in the arts, making theatre to be specific so I spend a lot of time watching shows of all genres. Enjoy being outside; biking, swimming, walking. I'm curious about people and places.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - having been brought up listening to 3 cassette tapes; fleetwood mac, paul simon and steel eye span - I am hopeless at knowing much about the specifics of music - I do know I like it, to listen to and dance to - I tend to head folky, funky but really anything with good beats and good tune is good to me - heavy metal and punk not so much.
Book - I read a lot - recent good ones: East of Eden, Golden Notebook, The Big Sleep and currently I'm chuckling at Confederacy of Dunces.
Movies - I'm fickle, love the cinema but am not picky about what I see
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Climbed some biggish mountains - nothing better than that air.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a very good common sense. I walk or bike everywhere and would happily be a guide for a day or two.
