Overview
About Me
Sorry, I have a full house through November 2015 with guests, not accepting additional surfers. Best to you all!
ABOUT ME
I am an easy going lady and value direct, honest, passionate people. I have been accused, by my mother, of never knowing a stranger. I have a strong social justice lens and am in pretty deep with the sustainability movement. I am passionate about social uplift and a paradigm shift which encompasses truth, honoring the sacred web of life, love, and possibilty.
PHILOSOPHY
Live, Love, Learn. If you love what you do, you will do it beautifully. Be REAL. Dance. Sing. Grieve and Praise is the same word in Mayan- do both authentically. Gratitude is the best coping mechanism.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I get really busy during the academic semesters at CU, and have had a hard time hosting when I'm so busy. But I have lots of folks stay for Bioneers, and am always happy to help connect folks when my own hospitality isn't enough.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had lots of friends stay with me over the years, many return, their friends of friends visit. I have enjoyed all the folks who have visited the WHY House.
Interests
Hiking, reading, cooking, restoration and trail work, edutaining children, riding my bike, Bioneers.org, sustainability, Decolonization, and anything that is life affirming.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love books. I read more non-fiction than anything. I openly smell books. No shame.
Music- pretty much anything. French hiphop to honkey Tonk!
Films, I don't go to movies so much. But I love many. I like documentaries, or edutainment. Tapped, Food Inc, HOME, Pray the Devil Back to Hell....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
CHeck my LinkdIn for cool work things. But, being involved with kids lives in the community = awesome. And backpacking on the Colorado Trail solo for 8 days, 125 miles was amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Sustainability; people, profit, planet. *Decolonize yo' mind, and create a new paradigm. *Build resiliant, local economies. *Stop poisining ourselves, future generations of people and animals, and the planet.
