ABOUT ME

Hi there :)
To briefly tell about myself:

- I finished my master in Public Health in December 2012 and then went travelling in May 2013 lasting until May 2014.
- Right now I live with my husband 6 km away from Odense downtown and work on a Research Center.

Australasia:
-Sydney Opera House simply took my breath away shortly after my first big journey started,
-Felt the fun of Fraser Island and rest of the backpacker-heaven at the Eastcoast,
-Loved to be diving the Great Barrier Reef,
-Watching the stunning Ayers Rock by sunset,
-Driving the Great Ocean Road,
and seeing the Pinnackles in the Western area, OZ

-Bungy jumping 134 meters in Queensland NZ,
-Walking the Tongariro crossing, NZ
-Skydiving in Taupo NZ,

Asia
-Saw the most beautiful temples on Bali, Indonesia
-Spent some time in the clean and strict Singapore
-Got intrigued with the Malaysian culture (and orangutangs on Borneo)
-Had a relaxing time in some of the many beautiful islands of the Phillipines together with an active walk through the rice terraces in Banaue
-Felt the tourism of Bangkok's Kao San Road, Thailand
-Felt the strength of tigers,
-Went to Black Moon party, Kho Phangang
-Tried elephant riding for the first time, Chiang Mai
-Got rich in Laos and went tubing
-Got a glimpse of the holy place of Ankor Wat, near Siem Reap, Cambodia
-Saw a lot of historic places, Vietnam
-Discovered the hidden Terracotta warriors, Xian China
-Been climbing the Great Wall of China,
-Felt the ancient past of The Forbidden City, Beijing China
-Got a great impression of the St. Basil Cathedral and Red Square, Moscow Russia
-Did the Trans Siberian railway from Moscow to Beijing
-Had a stop in Mongolia to sleep in the traditional Ger Camps and tasting the local horse milk
-Did a ten-day trek in the Himalayas, Nepal
-Saw the floating Ganges, Varanasi India
-Had a close look at the Taj Mahal in awe, Agra India
-In South Korea I got fascinated by their Jjimjilbang and had many interesting food experiences

North America
-Been to Manhattans Twin Towers, Empire State building and The Statue of Liberty NW
-Found a glimpse of The White House, Washington
-Saw the Walk of Fame in the middle of the Oscars, California
-Shopped a lot in Las Vegas
-Got engaged in front of the Grand Canyon
-Hitchhiked my way across Canada

Europe
-Eiffel Tower, Louvre & Disney Land, Paris France
-Carl's bridge, Prague
-Colosseum, Rome Italy
-Geysers, Iceland
-Gaudi's La Sagrada Familia, Barcelona Spain
-London Tower, England
-Mount Saint Michel, Normandy
-Had a lot of champagne in Champagne, France

Central America and Carribean
-Got the taste of Rum, Cuba
-Tried intensive spanish lessons in Antigua, Guatemala, and saw the Mayan ruins in Tikal
-Experiensed the wildlife in Belize city, Belize
-Went snorkling with turtles in Tumul, Mexico

Africa
-Saw the amazing pyramids

Apart from that I experienced many other amazing things while traveling :)
