ABOUT ME

My name is Sarah. I don't like to describe myself, but ok - I will try.
I am a social worker who passed the last years working in a youth circus project. I am quite calm, very friendly and always happy when having the opportunity to learn something new or when meeting interesting and a special way of crazy people - and doing unusual (some call it crazy) things in a normal life day - The world needs some colour :-)
I live together with my husband, who is a programmer.

I like travelling and I like to get to know daily life of interesting people - couchsurfing is a good way to combine both.

juggling and other circus arts
playing music with others - especially double bass
passing time with nice people, sharing thoughts, dicovering the world like a child
reading (maybe all books of the world?)
trying new things
theater playing, watching and critizising
handcrafts
performing fireshows
working in my garden and looking for the power of plants
spending days and nights at lakes and in the parc
going by bike and especially travelling by bike; but as well going by Flevo or unicycle (Basically I like each bike which is a little bit different...)

I love all handmade music, especially good folk, ska, reggae, music in the style of the 20s, singer/songwriters,....
It all depends on the mood.

There are way to many books I like to write it down here. It reaches from children books like all from Astrid Lindgren or Harry Potter to very serious ones like 1984 or novels by Remarque.

I like to share all my interests with others, because it's always better than doing it alone and much more fun.
If you want to learn some german or french it would be a special pleasure to teach you.
At the moment I am really looking forward for people who like to practice some spanish with me.

And there is always a juggling trick you can learn from me - or we exchange some tricks :-)
