Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I traveled the world meeting amazing people without using CS, which I discovered while I was living in Ecuador. I have since met wonderful people through CS and my travels in South America.

Interests

Well I love the outdoors and am quite active. I love climbing, bouldering and big mountain trekking as well as surfing and yoga. I love to go to concerts both big and small and I love to dance. I love wandering around cities and going to art museums. I am always interested in learning new things and during my down time I can always be found on a couch with tea and a hopefully good book.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of music but lately I am really interested in indie rock, electronic, pop and hip hop. Some favorite bands include: Sylvan Esso, Alt-J, Soley, First Aid Kit, Milky Chance, Rodrigo y Gabriella and Chet Faker.

I am a big reader and am always in the middle of a book. One of my all time favorites is The Historian and Just Kids.

As for movies I gravitate towards foreign movies, climbing and adventure movies and documentaries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to try and have adventures in my day to day life, I think it makes life more interesting. One standout moment however was a few years back when I climbed Cotopaxi and am now fully hooked on mountaineering!
