A former Peace Corps Deaf Education volunteer in Kenya for 2 years. Inspired by my PC experience, now in grad school in ASL (American Sign Language) and English Bilingual Education.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing and hosting is the way to go! Meeting up for tea or showing around town is something I also enjoy doing as well. If you're willing to learn a few ASL signs or use paper and pen to communicate, then we're all set!

- climbed the second highest peak in Africa - Mt. Kenya
- learned and worked with my kids in Kenya for 2 years
- animals from all over - penquins in S. Africa, seals in California, giraffes and lions in Kenya/TZ, bears in Canada
