Overview
About Me
I am a new resident of Brooklyn, NY, starting a job in public health with the city after this trip. A respectful and friendly gal who loves meeting new people and learning about different cultures and lifestyles, I think couchsurfing is a great forum for just that! I'm laid-back and flexible about most things, I just keep a vegetarian diet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love sharing economies as well as the warmth and generosity of the travelling community. I also think learning about city life through the locals is the best way!
Interests
My favorite travelling adventures include hunting down the local hot spots that give a city its character, especially music venues, food venues, markets, and festivals, exploring the surrounding nature, and meeting cool people along the way. Turn up the tunes and you won't be able to stop my feet from dancing!

Music, Movies, and Books
It is always changing and I'm always looking for new ones. Share yours with me and maybe we can even jam out to our shared favorite tunes. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazement comes from the little things for me: Sat in complete stillness on the vast, empty, black beaches of western Guatemala; Watched thousands of birds swoop into their cliff-side nests below me on the Isle of Staffa; had night-long conversations with complete strangers along the Hudson; watch the stars with my closest friends on the shore of Lake Algonquin; the list goes on.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes, please! I'm always up for learning and collaboration.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to share anything from experiences to a bottle of your favorite liquor. Whatever suits your fancy!
