About Me
This is not a dating website! If you feel lonely/want to meet someone for romantic purposes, use one of the million apps that exist exactly for that. Only accepting guests who've got references :)
ABOUT ME
I live in Stuttgart since 2019 and am involved in politics here.
I have always loved traveling: I lived in Bosnia-Herzegovina by myself for two years when I was 16, and then backpacked around South America and the Caribbean for a year. Then I moved to Canada to study and work there. There are many stories from my trips and experiences that I'd love to share with you, but I prefer listening first :) Talking comes after.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I fall in love with people and places easily and Couchsurfing is such a great way to meet people and really see places in an authentic way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books (for good and less good times):
-Toni Morrison (Beloved especially!)
-Viktor Frankl (Man's Search for Meaning) - he means humans' search for meaning, not men's
-Pema Chodron (When Things Fall Apart) - you don't have to be Buddhist to enjoy this
-Oscar Wilde (The Importance of Being Earnest) - a good laugh
-Marcus Aurelius (Meditations)
-Nelson Mandela (Autobiography) - the beginning is a bit slow but it's worth it
-Frank Herbert (Dune) - for sci-fi lovers
And many more...
I am a desperate case when it comes to music, absolutely uncultured (my playlist is very mainstream mostly, with a bit of 50s and 60s), so I'll rely on you to share yours with me! And for movies I'm quite boring too, mostly watching documentaries where I learn something new (sorry).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think "amazing" depends so much on the circumstances, but some of the things that I've done which made me feel fulfilled are working with refugees in Calais, supporting a national Inquiry in Canada, campaigning for the European elections,...
What I Can Share with Hosts
A very good listening ear and a new perspective, awe and curiosity, mediocre cooking skills, and a great new friendship.
