About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To stay open-minded, meet great people and be grateful. So far, I've been very lucky in experiencing these three things and it's always led me to story-worthy moments and meaningful connections.

ABOUT ME
From NYC and traveling in Lima! I'm hoping to use CS in the fullest which DOES NOT mean just a free stay to me. Being a part of CS is meeting other members of the community and learning from each other.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted when living situations allow for it (when roommates are willing) and have been lucky enough to be a guest many times.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
- I met one of my best friends through couchsurfing (in Australia) and we went on to travel together in Indonesia and then moved to the same city in the States!
- a group of neuroscientists attending a convention in Portland
- fun-loving Israelis who enjoyed playing ukulele
- a warm Mexican family who took me in as their own

If you're looking to be a guest, I would love to have you! Please mention the keyword 'scuba' in your message :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think these headers have changed since I last filled this out. I don't remember having to limit it to one!

If limited, I'd have to say my first solo trip. It was to Europe and it opened my eyes to traveling independently. I learned that you're never alone, no matter where you are in the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer....basic piano and clarinet lessons? I've played for 12 years and can offer a few tips here and there. Tennis lessons as well, if you feel so inclined. I've also recently acquired some web skills but please keep in mind that they're a new development!

I would love to hear stories--new viewpoints encourage growth and understanding.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Cameroon, Canada, Croatia, Ecuador, France, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, United Kingdom, Viet Nam
