ABOUT ME

I'm a traveler and writer, I've spent a lot of time living out of a backpacking. I love discovering new cities, cultures, food, languages.. the whole thing! I'm passionate about having an open mind toward what the world has to show.
I've lived in a few different countries and taught ESL, and I've lived in a lot of different states in the U.S. Currently, I'm on my way to Hawaii to spend a few months in Kauai, then on to SE Asia.

I travel most of the year, and generally live out of a backpack... so I'm not much of a host lately, unfortunately :(
But for surfing, I'd be happy to throw in a bottle of wine, and cook dinner for you!

Interests

Travel, of course. Running, hiking. Anything outdoors, really. I love to learn how to cook different ethnic foods and local favorites. All kinds of music and songwriting.

I'm really into classical literature and fiction, but I read everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I spent 4 months in a Nigerian village last year and I love sharing that experience, but I've done a lot and learned a lot and I hope I can keep learning from others... I'd really love to know more about local farming and cooking, languages, and music.
