ABOUT ME

after months and months of being a traveling gypsy and going with the flow of the universe to the greatest extent that i ever have, i have finally planted my roots in asheville, nc and i LOVE it here. this is my ancient family, this is my world that i've created for myself.
i am generally at peace wherever i may be. i have a pony spirit, or perhaps a sea horse. i could walk forever. i like to ride bikes also. i love the sunshine; summer is my season! but i love the changes that come with fall. new beginnings! i'm learning all a long the way. i like to get crafty and share a project with other creative folk. i dream up new ideas all the time, it's just materializing them that sometimes seems to be the problem.
i'm currently focusing my energy into creating art and letting my light shine brighter :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

coexisting with all these wonderful beings! i love making connections just by walking down the street. when you see the same random person multiple times in one day, the universe is probably prodding you to talk to that person! sometimes all it takes is stepping outside. it seems everywhere i go i meet fellow surfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have couchsurfed in new york city with some really amazing members of this community, and i couldn't have handled the winter city without their warm spirirts. haven't had any couchsurfers in my new abode, but i'm sure the time will come soon!

Interests

COLORS! painting, doodling, collaging, crafting in general. i'm interested in the world, the intricacies, the beautiful way everything works together...i'm super interested in the mayan calender and have been keeping track of the days for a few months now. i'm a red solar moon, what are you? it just really brings everything full circle. synchronicity!
im also interested in yoga, especially ashtanga. i love getting to know all the ways my body can move! i love doing headstands. being upside down is the best.
i'm interested in animal spirit guides, and i love cats. all the neighborhood cats come to hang on our porch for some reason..... :)
i'm interested in whatever you have to teach me! i'm an open vessel.

Music, Movies, and Books

infinite amounts, love getting mix cds and borrowing books!
lately i've been re-reading siddhartha. always new things to find there :)
over the past couple years i took it upon myself to read a lot of the classics of the 20th century and books i just felt it important to know.
i love poetry and sometimes i just like to copy poems down in my journal.
music...i like music that has feeling....mostly anything in the electronic word, raggae, world music, anything jazzy or funky... i love stomping to some heavy dubstep and hopping to anything bubbly!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

spending time in a cabin on a glacial lake in montana was pretty incredible. one of the most beautiful and pristine places i've ever been.

the regional burns in the southeast in the summertime are my favorite part of the year...transformus in nc and alchemy in ga...nothing compares to the beauty of all these pure beings gathering in a world of magic, color, and wild dreams for a few days! it's a cosmic firework explosion that lingers with me all the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

i want to learn lots more about ancient arts and practices. i feel it's more important than ever to be in tune with the natural remedies that the world has to offer and to tune our bodies and spirits in to the ancient so we can be more rooted to the earth and all the amazing things that happen in the most simple degree. i also want to learn more about the shift that's happening in the coming year and i want to gather people around who stand strong and know their purpose so i can stand even stronger. no one is an island! we're all in this together.
