COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed before, though not through this site. It's been everything from awesome (wake up in an apartment next to the beach in Arcata, California, to the sounds of the hosts slicing fresh melons for breakfast) to horrible (sleazy guy trying to get me to give him a "massage" in his waterbed - who even HAS a waterbed anymore?!). Clearly, I'm looking for experiences on the more awesome side of life.

Interests

I dig sociology, writing, reading, hiking, dancing, good food, good conversation. I'm pretty heavy into feminism and gay rights. I don't require that you be into those things too, but it helps if you're not a homophobic misogynist, I suppose.

I once drove all the way across the United States. I have been known to ice-skate.
