About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I turn hands into airplane wings.
ABOUT ME
My name is Sarah Kayfus and I am a 23 year old graduate student attending Southern Methodist University working toward an MBA in Marketing and Business Analytics and an MA in Arts Management. As long as I can remember music has been my life. I love singing it, dancing to it, and listening to it. I love all types of art. I have a big desire to learn and want to experience all that the world has to offer. I'm outgoing, spontaneous, and enjoying living life. I'll try anything once and love the feel of the rush. My grandmother traveled the world when she was my age and now I plan on doing the same!
I will be studying abroad in Milan, Italy this coming fall at Bocconi University. I'll be living in a shoebox apartment with my best friend, Kat (CS profile: http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/katherine.kunze/).
PHILOSOPHY
Fall in love or fall in hate.
Get inspired or be depressed.
Ace a test or flunk a class.
Make babies or make art.
Speak the truth or lie and cheat.
Dance on tables or sit in a corner.
Life is divine chaos. Embrace it.
Forgive yourself. Breathe.
And enjoy the ride...
-Solbeam
The world is my classroom. I love new people, new places, and new experiences. I've grown up on the premise that all people should be treated as equals and I try really hard to live my life to those standards. I consider myself a pretty easy-going and spontaneous person. I don't want to die knowing that I didn't experience everything that I could have. I want to live a very fulfilling life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Interests
I have a strong bias toward Louboutin and Ferragamo shoes and dream of one day owning a Chanel bag. I love crossword and Sudoku puzzles and pretty much anything that involves learning something new. I'm not that knowledgeable about art history, but am always drawn to the paintings of Renoir, Monet, Manet, and other French artists. In the same way, there is nothing like closing your eyes and listening to Debussy. You just let the waves of the music wash over you and it's the best feeling in the world. I have an affinity for funny cat pictures, but actually don't particularly like cats. Also, I love beer. Lots of beer... and wine and champagne, too while I'm at it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Summer 2010: I studied for the summer in Genoa, Italy and was introduced to the wonderful world of CouchSurfing!
July 2009: I sat at the top of the Haleakala Crater on the island of Maui and watched the sun set. It was by far the most beautiful sight I have ever seen, not to mention I felt extremely close to the earth... It's an amazing experience to see nature in its purest form.
June 2007: I was in Rome and literally walked into the middle of Pride. I danced with trannies, accidently told someone I was lesbian, and got invited up on a float. I have pictures to prove it!
