ABOUT ME

Hello! I'm a student studying Environmental Studies and Chinese. I enjoy outdoorsy things like bike riding, trail running, gardening, hiking, etc. During the school year, I spend most of my time studying (obviously) and doing various projects with various student environmental organizations. Besides student life, I am also a research assistant for an ethnobotanist at Kansas Biological Survey and study native medicinal plants. I'm really friendly and open, love making new friends, and try to learn from everything and everyone around me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently just a beginning surfer, but excited to become more involved in the couchsurfing community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed once before in New York. My friend and I stayed with a couple for about a month in their spare bedroom. They taught us how to make spectacular hummus! I had such a good experience that I ended up not leaving the city. One of my hosts was a real estate agent and helped me find an apartment. I had a great time and looking forward to more couchsurfing!

Skydiving off the coast of Oahu. It was totally incredible. I could see big fish things (not quite sure what they were, but I'm thinking whales). Definitely the coolest and most beautiful experience.
