As a Chinese American, I've always been curious to explore other cultures and languages outside of my hometown, San Francisco. After graduating from UC Davis, I studied and worked in Taiwan for 5 years to improve my Mandarin and broaden my opportunities. In order to fine tune my translation and interpreting ability, I just completed a year long master's program at the University of Bath. Currently living and loving my life in San Francisco and looking to meet fellow backpackers as I prepare for more travels to Central and South America!

I'm native English speaker and a fluent Mandarin speaker, plus I've studied Japanese and Spanish. I have an expertise in translation, interpreting, language acquisition, language teaching, business development and marketing. My passion and expertise is in technology sales and I’ve had success building a business.

I have over 4 years of experience teaching English and am more than happy to help any host with their oral or written English! I've also lived in four countries and traveled to a number of places on my own, so I have many stories, tips and advice for traveling abroad.
