Overview
About Me
I’m originally from the east coast of the US but currently live in Los Angeles with my husband Saleh, who I’ve recently introduced to the Couch surfing community. We are both first generation Americans, as our parents are immigrants.
Saleh loves books, writing, and film. I love discussing politics, thrifting, and dancing. We both enjoy good food, a nice cocktail, hiking and exploring. We just started learning to camp and we love it, although we’re still quite bad at it 😂
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Before I met Saleh I used to travel alone a lot, but I found that I was almost never alone, I met so many wonderful fellow travelers on the way. Some of my best experiences were meeting and experiencing new places and cultures alongside other curious travelers. I love the couch surfing community because it brings the kindest, most open and wonderful people together to experience joy and wonder, and learn from one another. I think the the giving and sharing spirit of the community brings out the best in all of us.
Interests
In addition to traveling, I enjoy salsa dancing, live jazz or Latin music, discussing or reading up on politics, working on my Spanish, taking a walk or hike, enjoying a good meal and having a good laugh.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am always excited to practice and improve my Spanish, and Saleh his Arabic. I can teach (or bore) you with American politics, and Saleh has encyclopedic knowledge about books and film. I taught English as a second language so I’m happy to practice English with you if you’re still learning!
