About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be someone who others remember; to forge deep connections; to be uninhibited
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, free-spirited, quirky, creative, and brimming with wanderlust. I recently graduated from from Oberlin College in Ohio, USA with a double- degree in Creative Writing and Women's Studies. I am currently living in rural West Virginia, working as a community outreach and youth organizer at an amazing girl's empowerment organization and enjoying the opportunities for hiking, camping, canoeing, and natural medicine that the area has to offer. During my time at university, I was very involved in both the literary scene (I am a published writer in both serious and satirical genres) and the social justice activism scene, and particularly in the feminist community. I hope to continue both of these involvements in the future. I love meeting new people, getting lost, ghost stories, good books, whimsical humor, and meaningful conversations.
PHILOSOPHY
"You can't change other people and you can't change the world; you can only change yourself and the world must respond" -Diane Nash
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Have couchsurfed in Ireland, Scotland, Montreal and the Midwest and have also traveled a fair amount (and slept on a great deal of couches in the process). The couch surfing community has exposed me to so many great people; I couldn't have felt comfortable traveling alone without it!
