Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel, experience, immersing ourselves into as many cultures as possible
ABOUT ME
Young, educated, adventurous, personable couple always up for new experiences and always willing to meet new people in new places.
The newest family addition is little Stella Keast, born May 6, 2015. Our little active darling! She has now been to six countries at only 2.5 years old.
We lived in California USA for the past six years but have recently moved back to Ontario, Canada.
PHILOSOPHY
Always striving for social interactions that merge our ideas with those of others with the intention of bettering ourselves and the world around us. We live our lives to experience all the fruits that life has to offer during a relatively short lifetime and to offer kinship to family, friends, and strangers through love. We see life through a magnifying glass and try to truly appreciate the amazingness and awesomneness of the complexity and beauty of life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Have previously couchsurfed in Montreal (Canada), across Europe, and in Macau (China). We have had very positive experiences and have met incredible people and want to continue our surfing endeavors.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
- hosted couchsurfers at our place in Toronto (May 2010)
- couchsurfed in Montreal and Europe in 2010
- couchsurfed in Macau in 2011
Enjoyed every minute of it!
It's been a while since we have actively couchsurfed - since the birth of our daughter - but we look forward to getting back into it now!

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: anything by Daniel Quinn/Margaret Atwood/Sam Harris/Eckart Tolle/Noam Chomsky/Timothy Findley/Dostoevsky
Music: all true artists; we have very eclectic tastes in music ranging from folk to electronic to hard rock to pop
TV & Movies: comedy (Seinfeld/Curb Your Enthusiasm), documentary (Crude, Food Inc.) drama (Pulp Fiction, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sarah: Spent one month in Italy in 2008; her highlights of her experience were seeing Michaelangelo's David and cliff diving in Capri.
Chris: Spent three weeks in Brazil doing work in the outback while seeing and admiring the sights of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro (including Corcovado, a wonder of the world)
Teach, Learn, Share
Chris can play guitar and writes his own music. He would be interested in collaborating with couchsurfers and/or teaching surfers to do the same.
Sarah is an amazing painter and an unknown phenomenon in this area. She is also a certified teacher and loves to share her ideas and wisdom on both art and education.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We would like to teach English or French languages, art teaching, home cooking, guitar and music, and painting/drawing/crafts.
Overall, we share our love, kindness, and peace with the world.
