Hi there! I joined couchsurfing long ago but didn't get the chance to fully immerse myself in the community. When I studied abroad in South Korea in 2015, I finally got the experience of living in hostels and sharing stories with travelers from all over the world. There isn't anything more epic than knowledge and making new friends all at the same time.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

For a lot of the reasons I stated above, but to meet cool new friends and explore new states and countries from the eyes of an expert!

My partner and I love travelling but I realized we tend to stick to ourselves when we go on trips, despite both of us being social butterflies. We also don't always find our communities quickly enough when travelling to new places... For example we both love astrophotography, but that sometimes means going to a national park at the buttcrack of dawn (or super late at night)... not the most ideal situation to try and meet other photographers when you're already tired and lugging equipment up and down a mountain!

I'm also a bit of a nerd... I go to renaissance festivals, anime conventions, music festivals... you name it, I probably participate in some way or another.

Favorite Band: Bleachers

Favorite Music (generally) includes a lot of alt pop, music made today that sounds like the 80s (The Struts, Greta Van Fleet, etc) but I enjoy classic rock as well. I'm also very into melodic EDM (Jai Wolf, Porter Robinson)

I've photographed a lot of big artists... Steve Aoki, Wiz Khalifa, Betty Who, the list goes on. I shoot a lot of music festivals!

I won a State Department Scholarship when I was in High School to live and study Korean Intensively for a summer (I believe it was 2013).
