About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to play in as damn many pro-tournaments in the world, as humanly and budgetarily possible!

ABOUT ME

Sarah is a strange mix of shy, wacky and big-hearted, all rolled into one :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because of the nature of the majority of my travels (I travel mostly to compete in tournaments), I have to be focussed on the matters at hand. But every time I am in a different city, I think it is such a waste not to also find time to enjoy the beauty each and every city, has to offer. Most of it lies in the locals that stay there, and for me as a local in my own country, there is always a certain joy showing people a place that you love and are proud of:)

Interests

Deep conversations, which are kinda hard to come by. I think real people are wonderful people, in whatever form they might come in. Because it takes courage to be real, and to acknowledge that man is, by nature, flawed and in need of redemption.

I spend a lot of my time playing tennis. I am a tennis player trying to realise my dream of turning professional, but at the same time bound by the sad constraints of limited budget and time. I just broke into the pro-circuit last year, and played my first pro-tournament. To save costs in whatever place I go to, I try and couch surf! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sitting atop a mountain in the far reaches of Penn State, State College PA and looking over the rolling hills that unfolded for as far as my eye could see. I was struck, hit by a deep sense of gratitude to be alive, but at the same time so dumbstruck (awestruck, maybe?) at how big the world was, and how small a speck I was in comparison :Q

Countries I’ve Visited
