About Me
ABOUT ME
I just joined couchsurfing after some of my friends told me about their amazing expereinces with it. I moved to Berlin in September 2011, and I hope it will be a good gate to the rest of the world. So far, I have been living in Aachen, York, and Leiden (besides my hometown). Anyways, now I'm becoming a historian and I hope it takes me to some nice places around the globe.
PHILOSOPHY
Usually I don't like motto's but I think "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you" should always be followed.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hope I can host soon as well, when I actually have a couch ;)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None, so far.
Interests
Of course, I like spending time with friends for cooking, enjoying live music and/or a beer, but also taking walks and enjoy the nature. I also enjoy doing sports, listening to music and reading, which isn't really surprising since I'm a historian ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a broad taste in music, but in the last year I listened to a lot of singer-songwriters. I like modern literature, one my favourite contemporary authors is Jonathan Safran Foer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In December I went to La Gomera and it was very beautiful. Especially the foggy Garajonay national park, where you have the feeling a fairy or goblin will cross your way any second.
