About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have two objectives in mind when I travel: make friends and eat delicious vegan food
ABOUT ME
I laugh more than anyone I know. My dog, Homer, is the only reason I come home. I'm vegan and sober, but pretty much indifferent to whether or not anyone else is. I read quite a bit and am always looking to trade books. I'm also always looking for somewhere to swim....

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
After years of hosting touring bands as they pass through, I've cultivated my inborn sense of southern hospitality.
I really love meeting new people. I revel in the idea that we might have missed each other by a matter of feet or minutes, but we didn't.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Three week tour of Europe in 2009, couched most of it, and loved every second... definitely enriched my experience of the places I went. Have hosted people (not through CouchSurfing) for years in North Carolina and Georgia.
Met some wonderful people in Iceland in September 2010!
Interests
I work full time as a bartender and additionally I help manage a small non-profit that presents free jazz and experimental music and art. I really do love my work. When I'm at home, I'm usually baking, reading in the backyard, or watching bad horror movies.
