About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish my masters and start having a life again! ;) haha and after that I'm hoping to continue working in the refugee advocacy area. But also i want to travel the world and push myself into extraordinary, wonderful life-changing experiences. And to meet and connect with people and share interesting moments! Ahh so much to do...so little time!
ABOUT ME
Howdy fellow couch surfers! About me- I love travelling, trying different food and experiencing unique cultures. I love the beach and will do almost anything to get out into the sun! I love rainforests and hiking. I love all different types of music, folk and roots calms my soul, pop and indie gets me excited, acoustic and jazz gets me dancing. I play guitar and sing, i want to learn ukelele and banjo. There is almost nothing better that red wine, dark chocolate and good company! I like to be an open-minded person and try to always understand that you can never truly judge till you've walked in someone elses shoes. I'm philosophical and an eternal optimist. I like to make people laugh.
PHILOSOPHY
i'm really trying to work on mindfulness...the art of truly experiencing every moment as it happens and living it to the fullest
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've couchsurfed in france and spain. I've met musicians through couchsurfing groups and been to many csing events is geneva switzerland, where i was living until recently.
I can't host at the moment as my house is too small but if i move somewhere bigger i may be able to then.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfing through the south of france and spain. It was an amazing experience, including: having shots on fire, getting a tour of an olympic pool engineering system, going to a beach party where the bar was almost washed away by waves, travelling in the boot of a car with my host, having a shot of 95% vodka and only being told the percentage after the fact, riding a bike to an isolated beach, and receiving a piece of incense wood from south america to ward of evil spirits from my host. Of course most importantly sharing these crazy experiences with new and interesting people and hosts, and who I hope are some new life-long friends :)
Interests
as above: travel, sunshine, rainforests, chocolate, guitar. Not necessarily in that order.

Teach, Learn, Share
i can share music i like. I can teach you guitar or perhaps you can teach me to be better at guitar. I can make a great asian stir fry or thai soup. Hopefully, i can make you laugh and vice versa.
I 'm currently studying massage and would love to learn to surf (baby waves of course) but would love to trade massage or music for surfing/ music.
