ABOUT ME

My travel style is relaxed--I am not in another city to hit 'x' number of sights. When I travel I look for experiences outside of the typical tourist traps. I travel for a holistic and real taste of another city-- I travel to eat local food, meet beautiful people and ultimately open my mind.
Although I have already informally couchsurfed, I am excited to utilize this site by getting a glimpse into the real culture of a particular place and laughing at things I had previously mistaken for normal.

Currently by surfing around in Europe. Soon enough I will be giving back to travelers by being a host--but for now, I travel:)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Although I had not used this site yet, last summer I explored all over Southeast Asia. Throughout the five countries I traveled, I mostly stayed at hostels and the houses of people I met along the way.

Interests

My passion is human rights. I am currently pursuing a degree in International Relations. Throughout the year my favorite active things include hiking with my puppy, mountain biking, backpacking, camping and anything that involves sunshine. At the same time, we all need down time to watch movies, share drinks, sit around a fire and listen to music. I love pets and, though I can't do anything fancy, cooking veggie pretty awesome dishes for people.
