I am a born and raised near the Rockies in S. AB

I am a nature enthusiast, activist and traveller.

If I could be a student for the rest of my life I would... and I might ;)

I am currently living between Scotland (home) and Rome (where I study).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I signed up in 2012 I was able to have incredible experiences in many different countries meeting amazing people through couch surfing. I've been hooked ever since! Every one has been uniquely wonderful and unforgettable.

Interests

So many interests! always growing and building

Being outside: hiking, running, paddling, climbing, biking, snowshoeing, nature loving

The simple things: the smell when you blow out a candle, curling up beside the fireplace in winter, ice cold beer, wine, fuzzy blankets, snuggles and a good book and hot beverages.

Volunteering: being active and part of a community is so important, abroad or at home. I've been a part of professional societies and groups that support women, human rights, or the environment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can find something amazing in everyday buuut spending a few months with a research team in the Indonesian jungle was particularly AMAZING.
